Serving Wisconsin-based Chocolate Shoppe ice cream, owner Juli Didier said she wanted to bring this premier ice cream to the community. A humorous sign on the wall says it all-“….it tastes so good because it has gobs of rich Wisconsin cream, tons of real ingredients for boatloads of luscious flavors. That means it’s not low fat, low calories or low-anything and that’s why everyone loves it.
You want nutrition? Eat carrots.” Several of the ice cream flavors are non-dairy and gluten free. A popular flavor is Zanzibar Chocolate, which is chocolate ice cream made with three kinds of cocoa for a rich, fudge brownie taste.
Besides regular cones, you can also get a dipped cone decorated with sprinkles or nuts. The Social also sells ice cream pies and sandwiches to go, as well as malts, shakes and sundaes.
