After a successful first year, Orland natives Brent and Angie Hochstetler decided to remodel and expand Sweet Summers. “People appreciate small towns and I want this prominent corner to look great,” she said. Sweet Summers will expand with a courtyard and outdoor seating in the near future. The inside has been totally renovated and remodeled.
Sweet Summers serves a variety of Chocolate Shoppe ice-cream. Favorites include Superman, strawberry cheesecake, mint chocolate and Moose Tracks. Sweet Summers serves 12 different flavors at a time, as well as shakes, malts and sundaes plus cinnamon rolls and pies.
