Soft-serve twists are popular items according to owner Scott Heater. “We have the traditional chocolate and vanilla, but we also add a different combination each week like mango and peach or strawberry and lemonade.” Capt’n Pete’s also serves 20 varieties of hand dipped ice cream. Moose Tracks is the most popular flavor, Heater said. Besides traditional waffle and sugar cones, Capt’n Pete’s serves malts and shakes. They’re open daily between Memorial Day and Labor Day and offer indoor and outdoor seating.
